Lip Scrub For Luscious Lips

Hi beauties, who hates dry cracked lips? I do! I do! It's important to exfoliate once a week to keep your lips soft & luscious. I have the perfect lip scrub recipe so here's what you'll need:

-1 Tsp. of Honey
-1 Tsp. of Olive oil

-1 Tsp. of Brown sugar

Directions: Mix the ingredients together in a small bowl. Lightly apply the scrub with your finger in a circular motion for 30seconds. Smack your lips back & forth several times. Gently wash off the scrub with cold water & gently pat your lips dry with a towel. Apply chapstick & done. :) xo

Do you want thick & long eyelashes?

Hi beauties, so people always stop & ask me if I'm wearing "fake eyelashes." When I tell them that my lashes are naturally long they start laughing at me. Well, just like how you'd take care of the hair on your head you have to take care of your lashes to prevent them from falling out. A couple years ago I came up with an eyelash serum to keep my lashes long & strong. I can happily say that my lashes are still growing because I've been taking care of them. I've also used this serum on my eyebrows help make them grow fuller and thicker. Here's what you'll need to make the serum:

-Organic cold-pressed Castor Oil

-Organic Coconut Oil

In a clean bottle, mix these two oils together. Make sure that you have 50/50 of both of the oils in the bottle. Every night after you've washed your face apply the serum with a q-tip to your lashes and eyebrows. Wash it off in the morning as usual. You will end up with thicker, darker, longer, & healthier lashes & eyebrows. Keep in mind that coconut oil solidifies quickly so right before you dip the q-tip to apply it to your lashes make sure to hold the bottle underneath some hot water so the coconut oil has time to melt. You can order castor oil from amazon & ebay.com You can find organic coconut oil at Sprouts, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods Market, and most Indian stores.

Hollywood’s most captivating Beauty quirks:

BATTING LASHES

You'd think Elizabeth Taylor already won the grand prix of genes with her otherworldly beauty, but Mother Nature was extra generous to the violet-eyed icon. She was born with a rare genetic condition called distichiasis, giving her an extra row of eyelashes. Producers often told the leading lady to remove extra eye makeup for non-glamour photos—but no, those fluttering lids were au natural. The disorder can have certain side effects which include misdirected growth, but it seems Miss Taylor only reaped the benefits of her built-in falsies. We're both envious and captivated.

Best Foundation for Oily Skin

Hi beauties, I hope you’re all doing well. Okay, so I’ve been searching for the best liquid foundation for oily skin. It’s torturous…painful...ahh not anymore! I’ve found one of the best liquid foundations out there by Lancôme, Teint Idole Ultra 24HR Makeup.  I was skeptical about buying this foundation (because it’s on the pricey side) so a beauty consultant at ULTA Beauty gave me a 10-day sample to try it out for myself. Honestly, this foundation is best applied with a sponge instead of a brush because when the consultant applied the foundation with a brush my skin looked cakey & uneven. I decided to go home & apply it with a beauty blender & let me tell you, it’s amazing!! NEVER cakey looking.  It’s suppose to be a liquid foundation that’ll last you 24Hours of coverage but I’ve never warn makeup for that long. The longest time I’ve warn this foundation is about 10 hours.  It’s $45 but it’s worth the buy because it’ll last you for months & months come.  One pump is all you need unless you want to build up to a medium-full coverage.

Pros:  Easy to apply, buildable coverage, lasts all day, does not have a strong smell, porcelain finish
Cons: pricey

Super Blender Sponge

I bought mine for $4.99 what a steal right?!  The original beauty blender costs  $19.95. Why pay that much? Save your money & buy one from the link below. Does the same exact thing with fraction of the price.

Tip: Wet the sponge & squeeze excess water out. It’ll absorb less of your foundation & give you a flawless look.  Have a beautiful day. xo

Breitsamer Honey Face Mask

2 Tablespoons of Breitsamer Golden Selection Honey

1 Teaspoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice

Directions: Before you start making this mask make sure that you have washed your face with a cleanser and have patted your face with a clean face towel. Mix the ingredients together & directly apply the mask onto your face (avoiding the eye area as the acid from the lemon juice will sting your eyes.) Leave the mask on for 20mins. Wash your face with cold water so your pores will close up. This mask should be made once every 2 weeks.

Note: If you have extra sensitive skin leave out the lemon juice. Lemon juice is a natural skin brightener. If you have dark spots from previous acne and acne scars, the lemon juice will brighten the dark spots and acne scars gradually. Honey has anti-bacterial properties which will pull out dirt & oil trapped into your skin. It’s a natural moisturizer so this mask won’t dry out your skin.

P.s. To make this mask you should use Breitsamer Golden Selection honey because it absorbs into the skin quickly.  If you cannot find this honey in stores or online use 100% organic raw honey. Do not use honey that contains sugar or any artificial ingredients. (Real honey only contains one ingredient & that’s HONEY.) Enjoy! xo

Must-Haves, Worth The Buy!

Hello Beauties,
well it wouldn't be right if I didn't share with you my favorite must-haves right now! First, lets talk about exfoliating & how crucial it is for achieving that baby soft skin all year round. I am completely obsessed with Salma Hayek's cosmetic/skincare line called "Nuance" because all her products are made with organic ingredients that won't irritate your skin. I recently bought her body scrub called "Walnut Body Scrub" It contains Acai, Annatto Seed, & Rice Bran Oils. It creates a rich exfoliation designed to smooth skin's texture & add moisture. It smells so amazing! I love the texture of the scrub because it does not tear up your skin like some harsh exfoliators do. Its texture is creamy & the crushed walnuts are gentle enough to deliberately remove dead skin without leaving your skin red. It's Non-irritating, Allergy tested, Paraban Free, & it's not tested on animals. I bought mine at CVS but you can order online if it's more convenient to you.

Now let us move on to my other favorite product from Nuance. :) Okay guys so I decided to try a new moisturizer & I must say I am so glad I did! I have really oily skin so sometimes I have to look long & hard for a moisturizer that does not make me look like a greasy mess. It's called "Hydra Light Moisturizing Gel" & let me tell you, a little goes a LONG way. If you have oily skin like myself then don't glob it onto your face. Start off with a dot on your finger & then apply more if you have dry patches on some areas of your face. This moisturizer is so different from any other moisturizer I've ever used because it really has a gel texture. & NO it's not sticky at all. It absorbs quickly into your skin. I would recommend this moisturizer for girls & women with combination skin.  I bought this at CVS as well.

I hope you guys love these products just as much as I do. Let me know if any of you guys try these products. xo
